  • First post Christmas Day walk with the family. It took a while, but the boy managed to do well and make it 6+KMs. The baby chino and walk around the shops also helped us.

  • Boy has been ill since Sunday, it took until Tuesday night to get a Doctors’s appointment, where we got a call back at 8pm only. Prescription issued for antibiotics, but due to an outbreak of infections in the UK…all pharmacies are out of antibiotics for children. Fingers crossed for better luck finding some today. 🩺

  • Day of the Dead πŸ’€ πŸ₯‚πŸΎπŸŽ‰

Greetings to you on the Day of the Dead. I use it as a moment to think of loved ones we have lost. It’s been several years, but it still hurts to lose a friend who was taken away at the prime age of only 36 from cancer. I think I will have to raise a toast to him and others later in the day. πŸ’€πŸ»

  • We were fortunate enough to spend two hours looking around a Power Plant. I am amazed at the processing that goes into this Bio Fuel plant and how much effort is being spent to go fully green. Some excellent questions from the young children too

  • Write about your most embarrassing moment

Interesting question from the Day One App.

Mine was, skipping an economics lesson at the age of 16/17. As I walked past the building, I was distracted by a fellow student in that class, shouting from the window. I walked into a lamppost.

  • Saturday shenanigans

I decided to go off for a browse around the shops yesterday and as it’s less than an hour away from me, I drove to Bicester to see what the expensive shops had on sale. Long story short. Not a lot, everything seems inflated for tourists, who were piling their suitcase. Oh, the other problem I had, I went shopping without my wallet. 45 min drive to the shops, 1hr 12min around the shops and 45min drive back.

    Purchased via contactless:

    β€’ 4 x Laduree Macarons for the wife as a treat Β£10

β€’ Apple fizz drink for myself Β£2.50

On the way to Bicester, I noticed a car parked up in the side of a quiet roundabout . I rolled down my window to ask if it could help in any way and to my shock, a man was holding a physical AA map. Yes, a map and no smartphone in sight. I respect the driver’s determination, but his driving and parking skills were awful, lol.

  • I spent two weeks in Greece. I came back all relaxed and then felt rough for a few days. No covid and I put it down to germs on the plane. A few days later, we go to London and I come back feeling rough again. I think I am allergic to people 🀣
